Steven Richards enlisted in the United States Army in 1982 after graduating from St.Croix Central High School. He was immediately deployed to Heidelberg Germany where he worked in the Communication Center at HQ USAREUR, which serviced the NATO Alliance Headquarters. While assigned to NATO, he worked temporary missions in Turkey, Austria, and Brussels.
In 1986, he was transferred to South Korea and was assigned to USFK HQ in Seoul! While on assignment in the Telecommunications Center, he performed temporary duty missions to Okinawa, Japan and Thailand! He separated from the Army in 1989, but remained in Korea and began working as a military contractor with the University of Maryland - Asian Division. There he continued working on his BA In Computer Studies.
He returned to the Virgin Islands in 1996, first employed as a contractor with HOVENSA before moving to his current employment as Systems Manager for the U.S. Probation/Pretrial Office with the District Court. Mr. Richards is an avid Biker and is a member of the 340 Misfits Motorcycle Club!
